Africa-EU Symposium on Renewable Energy Research and Innovation

The symposium is a joint conference of the RECP, PAUWES and University Abou Bekr Belkaid Tlemcen, providing a platform for Africa-EU renewable energy research dialogue and partnerships, and for the promotion of research support mechanisms and cooperation platforms.
 
Call for extended abstracts
With this call for extended abstracts, we invite you to participate in the Africa-EU Symposium on Renewable Energy Research and Innovation. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by an international scientific committee. Authors of accepted papers will be invited to present their paper at the symposium. Their costs of participation at the symposium will be covered by the RECP. Accepted abstracts will be published and disseminated in a conference handout.

Target group
Conference participants will be a mix of African and European renewable energy scientists, innovators, policy makers, industry experts and professionals. This call for proposals is aimed at researchers from universities and innovation centres in Africa and the EU. We actively encourage applications by female researchers
 
Submission guidelines
For information, please refer to the guidelines and the template for submission of abstracts. Proposals must be submitted via the online submission systemapplications via email will not be accepted. Applicants are invited to submit a four-page abstract in PDF format on planned/ongoing or completed research activities in the field of renewable energy in Africa and/or the European Union. The deadline for submission is 15 November 2015.
