On Tuesday, October 4, 2022,  Pr.MEGHACHOU Mourad, Rector of the University of Tlemcen, oversaw the ceremony to installe Pr.ABI AYAD Chakib as the new dean of the Faculty of Medicine, succeeding Pr.BERBER Nacib, in the presence of the Vice-Rectors, the deans of faculties, the university community and the social partners.

In his speech, the University of Tlemcen Rector praised the departing Dean, Prof. BERBER Nacib, for his efforts throughout the Faculty's leadership and wished the incoming Dean much success.
