The University includes the Rectorate, eight faculties and other common services:

The Rector is responsible for the general functioning of the University. He represents the university and exercises hierarchical authority over all university staff. he ensures the application of the legislation in force in the field of education.

He is the Ordonator of University Budget Officer and is responsible for maintaining order and discipline. He is assisted in his tasks by four Vice-Rectors - and the General Secretary.

  1. The rectorate consists of four (4) vice-rectors and is organized as follows:

 

  • The Vice-rector of the Higher Education of the First and Second Cycles, of the Continuing Education and Diplomas and of the Higher Education Degree.
  • The Vice-rector of Postgraduate Higher Education, University Accreditation and Scientific Research and Postgraduate Higher Education.
  • The Vice-rector of External Relations, Cooperation, Animation and Communication and Scientific Events.
  • The Vice-rector of Development, Foresight and Guidance
  • The Vice-rector of the Higher Education of the First and Second Cycles, of the Continuing Education and Diplomas and of the Higher Education Degree.

He is responsible for:

  • Follow up on questions related to the teaching and training organised by the university,
  • Ensure the coherence of the training offers presented by the faculties and institutes with the university development plan,
  • Ensure compliance with the applicable regulations on registration, re-registration, knowledge testing and student progression,
  • To monitor the distance learning activities provided by the university and to promote continuing training activities,
  • Ensure compliance with the rules and procedures in force for the award of diplomas and equivalencies,
  • Maintain and update the student name file.

The Vice-Rectorate is composed of:

  • The of teaching, training and evaluation Service
  • The of continuing training Service,
  • The Diploma and Equivalency Service.

 

  1. The Vice-rector of Postgraduate Higher Education, University Accreditation and Scientific Research and Postgraduate Higher Education.

is responsible for:

  • Monitor issues related to the conduct of post-graduation, specialised post-graduation and academic accreditation courses and ensure compliance with the relevant regulations,
  • Ensure the coherence of the training offers presented by the faculties and institutes with the university development plan,
  • Monitor and report on the research activities of research units and laboratories, in coordination with faculties and institutes,
  • Carry out any action to exploit the results of research,
  • Monitor the operation of the university’s scientific council and preserve its archives,
  • collecting and disseminating information on research activities carried out by the university.


The Vice-Rectorate is composed of:

  • The of postgraduate training and specialized post-graduation service,
  • The University Academic Accreditation Service,
  • The monitoring of research activities and the exploitation of its results service.

 

  1. Vice-rector of External Relations, Cooperation, Animation and Communication and Scientific Events

is responsible for:

  • promote the university’s relations with its socio-economic environment and initiate partnership programs,
  • initiate any action to promote inter-university exchanges and cooperation in the fields of education and research,
  • to carry out activities of animation and communication,
  • organize and promote scientific events,
  • monitor and ensure consistency in teacher and training development programs.

The Vice-Rectorate is composed of:

  • The inter-university exchanges, cooperation and partnership service;
  • The animation and communication and scientific events service.

 

  1. The Vice-rector of Development, Foresight and Guidance

 

is responsible for:

 

  • Gather the necessary elements for the preparation of the university’s draft development plans;
  • carry out any prospective study on the forecasts of the evolution of the student community of the university and propose any measures for their management, in particular, in terms of development, pedagogical and administrative supervision;
  • maintain the university statistical file by ensuring its periodic updating;
  • develop any information material on the courses of study provided by the university and their professional opportunities;
  • make available to students any information to assist them in their choice of orientation;
  • promote information activities
