As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's strategy to enhance the integration of university institutions into international programs, the Regional Conference of Western Universities was held today, Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in the presence of vice-rectors in charge of international relations and heads of business incubators from higher education institutions across the western region.

The meeting was led and moderated by
Ms. Nada Nouri, Chair of the National Committee for Monitoring International Programs Supporting Innovation and Business Incubators, and Mr. Mohamed Beddour, Director of the Erasmus+ Office in Algeria.

The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Ahmed Chaâlal, President of the Regional Conference of Western Universities, who emphasized in his speech the importance of regional coordination and the exchange of experiences to support innovation and strengthen openness to international programs, particularly Erasmus+.

The discussions focused on mechanisms to broaden participation in Erasmus+ programs and strengthen cooperation between university institutions in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Best practices and recommendations from the National Virtual Conference were also presented.
