On April 16, 2025, in celebration of Knowledge Day, the Intensive Language Teaching Center organized a scientific conference titled "From the Roots of the Arabic Language to the Footsteps of Globalization" under the theme "Knowledge Day... The Dignity of the Language."
This conference was organized by the Arabic Language Teaching team for non-Arabic speakers, in collaboration with the Linguistics and Didactics Research Lab. It was dedicated to honoring the scholar Abdelhamid Ben Badis, a defender of the Arabic language and culture. The event brought together faculty members, students from the master's program in language sciences, and invited guests.
The conference began with an address by Dr. Zemri Mohamed, a member of the Supreme Council of the Arabic Language, who emphasized the importance of preserving the Arabic language while being open to the challenges posed by the digital age. The Dean of the Faculty of Letters, Professor Hadjoui Ghouti, expressed his gratitude to the participants and highlighted the significance of academic commitment, particularly that of Dr. Dandan Zoubir.
Dr. Saidi Nassima, head of the 2E center, encouraged students to continue their studies with determination and thanked the organizing committee, especially the president, Mrs. Hamoumi Anfal, for their contribution to the success of this scientific conference.
