On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Beddari, presided over a solemn ceremony at the Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences in Ben Aknoun, during which several professors were honored with the titles of "Emeritus Professor" and "Emeritus University Hospital Professor."

Tlemcen University was also present at this prestigious event, marking its participation by honoring a group of its professors who have embodied academic excellence and scientific impact both within the university and beyond.
