The Rector of the University of Tlemcen, Prof. MEGHACHOU Mourad, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Ben Daoud Nacer Eddine, officially inaugurated the training workshops organised by the Department of Information and Communication Sciences, in partnership with the Algerian television channel N1.

Supervised directly by N1’s General Director, Mr. AMEUR Ibrahim, the workshops brought together a team of seasoned journalists and technicians who shared their expertise with the students. The training programme covered essential technical and professional aspects of journalism, including the use of audiovisual equipment, filming and editing techniques, and the fundamentals of media content creation and television production.

The initiative was warmly welcomed by students of the program and communication officers from various student organizations. They considered it a valuable opportunity to enhance their practical skills, aligning with the demands of the professional media industry and the university's growing drive towards modernisation and hands-on learning.

On this occasion, the Head of the Department of Humanities, Prof. Benamar Aouadj, who also served as the general coordinator of the event, expressed his sincere gratitude to Mr. AMEUR Ibrahim for his active involvement in student training. He also affirmed the department’s commitment to continuing such collaborations in the future to further promote practical, career-oriented education within the university.
