On June 24, 2024, the Laboratory of Applied Genetics in Agriculture, Environment, and Public Health (University of Abou Bekr Belkaid – Tlemcen) hosted the first edition of the NHSAM_2025 national conference, with the participation of professors and researchers from various Algerian universities.

 

This scientific event provided a platform for constructive discussion on key topics in public health, including the relationship between nutrition and wellness, alternative medicine, primary prevention, and consumer safety, alongside recent biotechnological applications in the health sector. The program featured scientific presentations and interactive workshops, which drew significant interest, especially from students and health professionals.

 

This conference marks a promising step towards fostering interdisciplinary research in health sciences and promoting integrated therapeutic approaches combining modern nutrition and evidence-based alternative practices.
