As part of efforts to strengthen scientific partnerships and promote cooperation between academic institutions and national bodies, a bilateral cooperation agreement was signed on Sunday, July 13, 2025, between the University of Tlemcen — represented by the Faculty of Medicine of Abou Bekr Belkaïd University – Tlemcen — and the National Institute of Public Health.
The signing ceremony took place at the Institute’s headquarters in Algiers, under the supervision of the Rector of the University, Pr. MEGHACHOU Mourad , and the Director General of the Institute, Pr. BOUAMRA Abdelrazak, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Chakeb Abbi Ayad, along with the heads of the Institute’s technical departments.
This agreement aims to open up new prospects for collaboration in the fields of medical education, scientific research, and continuing training for healthcare professionals. It includes provisions for the exchange of expertise, the organization of joint scientific activities, and the development of specialized training programs.
This initiative reflects a shared commitment to strengthening ties between the university and national institutions, and to contributing to the improvement of training quality and healthcare services in Algeria.
