The conference hall of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences hosted, on August 31, 2025, the opening of the first Scientific Summer University, organized by the Scientific Club of Young Jurists of the Faculty of Law and Political Science. This initiative aims to provide students from the various faculties of the University of Tlemcen with high-quality training in English and computer science.

 

The official opening was presided over by the Rector of the University of Tlemcen, Prof. MEGHACHOU Mourad, in the presence of the deans of the faculties supervising the event: Prof. BENTIFOUR Nasr Eddine, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science; Prof. KHERBOUCHE Abdelrahman, Dean of the Faculty of Letters and Languages; and Prof. ARRAR Zouhir, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences. The ceremony was also attended by the deans of the Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences, Economics, and Technology, the Director of Tlemcen Radio, as well as a number of the university staff members.

 

The activities of this Summer University will continue until the end of September, in parallel with the start of the 2025–2026 academic year.
