As part of strengthening ties between the university and the socio-economic sector, a coordination meeting was held at the University of Tlemcen under the supervision of Mr. Mourad Meghachou, Rector of the University.

The meeting brought together Pr. Zakaria SARI HASSOUN, Director of the i2E Student Center, and Mr. BOUBEGRINE Sehnoun, Director of Fisheries and Aquaculture of Tlemcen wilaya, in the presence of several officials and representatives from both institutions.

The objective of this meeting was to enhance cooperation between the University and local economic actors by exploring opportunities for collaboration in research, innovation, and sustainable development related to the fisheries and aquaculture sector.

The event also saw the participation of student entrepreneurs with innovative projects from the University of Tlemcen, supported by the i2E Student Center through its three structures:

The University Incubator

The Technology and Innovation Support Center (CATI),

The Entrepreneurship Development Center (CDE).

Discussions particularly focused on the preparation for the University of Tlemcen’s participation in the International Fisheries and Aquaculture Exhibition, scheduled to take place next month in Oran, with the aim of showcasing university projects with strong potential for innovation and economic value creation.
