In an atmosphere filled with pride and appreciation, the Rector of the University of Tlemcen, Prof. MEGHACHOU Mourad , organized on Monday, October 20, 2025, an honorary ceremony to celebrate the university’s achievement of being ranked second nationally according to the prestigious QS Arab Ranking.

 

On this occasion, the Rector expressed his sincere thanks and deep gratitude to the members of the local committee responsible for promoting the university’s visibility and improving its international rankings. He commended their sustained efforts and exemplary work that led to this remarkable accomplishment.

 

The meeting, attended by the Vice-Rectors and the Secretary-General of the university, also provided an opportunity to present and discuss the strategic plan aimed at further enhancing the visibility of the University of Tlemcen at both national and international levels.

 

This distinction represents the result of a collective and coordinated effort, reflecting the University of Tlemcen’s continued commitment to pursuing academic and scientific excellence, while contributing to the improvement of higher education quality in Algeria.
