The Minister of Youth, in charge of the Higher Council for Youth, Mr. Mustapha HIDAOUI, paid a working visit to Tlemcen on October 30, 2025, where he presided over the opening of the national conference entitled “Forward, Youth, Let’s Continue the paths ” organized by the National Organization of Algerian Students on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the National Liberation Revolution.

 

The event, held at Abou Bekr Belkaïd University of Tlemcen, took place in the presence of the Wali of the wilaya, Mr. Youcef BECHELAOUI, representatives of local authorities, members of the Higher Council for Youth, and the university community.

 

The opening speeches highlighted the central role of university youth in continuing the national project and promoting the values of citizenship and responsible participation.

 

In his address, the minister emphasized that the New Algeria relies on its youth as a source of ideas and a driving force for national development, encouraging young people to actively engage in economic and social dynamics through innovation and entrepreneurship. For his part, the Wali recalled the inseparable link between the memory of November and the construction of the future.

 

The conference sessions, officially launched by the minister, focused on themes related to youth, citizenship, and national leadership. The closing reaffirmed that the commemoration of November 1st represents a renewed commitment to building a strong and modern Algeria, founded on the active contribution of its youth and the complementarity between universities, public institutions, and student organizations.
