The University of Tlemcen hosted, on November 5, 2025, a training day that brought together editors-in-chief and technical staff responsible for managing the university’s scientific journals.
This event focused on developing skills related to the international indexation of journals in global databases such as Scopus.

This training formed part of the programme established by the Local Committee for the Promotion of the Visibility and Ranking of the University of Tlemcen, in collaboration with the Local Committee for the Promotion of the Visibility and Ranking of the University of Oran 2.

The day’s programme was substantial and structured into two sessions:
The first session included two lectures delivered by Prof. KARA TERKI Hadjira from the University of Tlemcen and Prof. OUHAMICHE Ghania from the University of Oran 2. The main theme of these lectures focused on journal indexation databases.

The second part of the training, devoted to a practical workshop led by Prof. OUHAMICHE Ghania, enabled participants to simulate the different steps involved in submitting an indexation request.
