A year after Doctor Ziani Tahar left us, the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences and Management organized a ceremony in his memory, where the Rector of the University of Tlemcen Pr. Djaafour Mustapha and the Dean of the faculty Dr. Ben Bouziane Mohammed and all the Teachers and the Staff of the faculty have honored him. The ceremony of remembrance that was dedicated to him also saw the presence of his family and many of his friends from other Universities.

Dr. Naoum Mourad, Director of the University Center Meghnia paid tribute to the deceased in a very emotional atmosphere; he gave a small biography in which he emphasized on his commitment and love for students. Then the Rector of the University also gave a word to insist on all the qualities the successful teacher must have.

 The ceremony was closed by inaugurating a viva room, named Dr. Ziani Tahar.
