As part of the implementation of the twinning strategy and the strengthening of university cooperation in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation, the University of Tlemcen is organising, on Friday and Saturday, 23 and 24 January 2026, a training session for directors of university incubators from the western region.

This session is held as part of the programme set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and is organised in partnership with the Italian incubator FILSE-the University of Genoa-. It aims to promote the exchange of experiences and expertise, as well as to provide participants with insight into best practices in the management and development of university business incubators, particularly with regard to supporting innovation and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset within the academic environment.

The event brings together directors of university incubators from the western region. The various training sessions focus on presenting the Italian experience in the field of university incubators, with contributions from experts of the Italian incubator FILSE, in the presence of a ministerial delegation representing the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Discussions also address ways to improve incubator performance and to strengthen cooperation between Algerian universities and their international counterparts.

This initiative forms part of the efforts of the higher education and scientific research sector to enhance the role of universities in supporting innovative projects and encouraging entrepreneurial initiatives among students and project holders, through expanding international cooperation and sharing successful experiences.
