In a continued commitment to quality and excellence, the Benaouda Ben Zerjeb Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tlemcen hosted, on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, the ceremony for the presentation of the Recognition Trophy, symbolizing the academic standing achieved by the faculty and confirming its readiness to enter the external accreditation phase according to recognized academic standards.

This honor represents the result of sustained work carried out under the supervision of the University of Tlemcen as part of the performance development and enhancement program, in preparation for evaluation by a specialized external body, and in accordance with international standards ensuring quality in higher education and medical training.

The ceremony was attended by the University Rector, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, members of the academic and administrative staff, Vice-Rectors of the University, Deans of other faculties, the Director of the Institute, as well as university officials and the Faculty of Medicine community, in an atmosphere reflecting collective engagement and institutional commitment.

This recognition reflects the high level of commitment demonstrated by the faculty in the framework of academic governance and highlights its capacity to actively engage in evaluation and continuous improvement mechanisms.
