On February 15, 2026, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Bedari, presided over the official launch of the digital platform for the registration of international contract-based students under the Study-In-Algeria program, held at the Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences – Ben Aknoun.

The ceremony was attended by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, as well as representatives of international students from Tlemcen University and their counterparts from various national universities, reflecting Algeria’s efforts to strengthen openness to foreign students and to facilitate their registration through modern digital tools.
