On March 8, 2026, the auditorium of the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences and Earth and Universe Sciences hosted a special ceremony on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Organized by the faculty’s Activities Service, the event honored female faculty members, staff, and students, highlighting their essential role in scientific research as well as in the faculty’s administrative and educational functions.

The ceremony brought together several university officials, including the Vice-Dean in charge of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, the Secretary General of the Faculty, and the sub-director at the Rectorate ( representing the university rector), along with department heads and members of the university community.

The program featured official speeches, the presentation of awards and honorary certificates to outstanding women, and a special tribute to the Dean of the Faculty for her exemplary leadership. The event concluded with a commemorative photo, symbolizing the university’s annual recognition of women’s contributions to science and education.
