As part of its policy to promote scientific, cultural, and sporting activities, the University of Tlemcen hosted an open day dedicated to chess, organized by the scientific club "You Think" at the Faculty of Medicine.

This outdoor event was held in collaboration with the Chess League of Tlemcen Province, in the presence of its president as well as specialized coaches in this discipline. It was marked by the organization of a competitive tournament for students, aimed at encouraging the practice of chess and strengthening student engagement within university clubs.

The event took place in the presence of the sub-director of Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and the Head of the Activities Department, reflecting the importance given by the university authorities to such initiatives.

The University of Tlemcen commends the efforts of the scientific club "You Think" and encourages such initiatives that contribute to enhancing and enriching university life.
