Closing of the 2nd Edition of the "Al-Hanjarah Al-Dhahabia" ( Golden Voice)Quran Tajwid Competition

The second edition of the "Al-Hanjarah Al-Dhahabia  ( Golden Voice) Quran Tajwid Competition" was held on Tuesday, 27 Ramadan 1447 H, corresponding to March 17, 2026, at the Faculty of Letters and Arts of the University of Tlemcen. This event is part of the university’s cultural and scientific activities and was organized under the supervision of Rector Prof. MEGHACHOU Mourad, at the initiative of the Agadir Literary Club, in coordination with the Department of Arabic Language and Literature and the Laboratory for the Renewal of Arabic Grammar.
The event brought together a prestigious official and academic audience, including the rector, his two vice-rectors, several deans, faculty members, students, and their families, giving the event both an academic and a family-oriented character.
The jury, composed of Dr. Zoubir Ahmed Ibrahim and Dr. Salmi Elyas, evaluated the participants according to precise scientific criteria in Tajwid. The event also featured a performance by Jenan Al-Quran School and the students of "Zahrat Al-Jenan", adding an educational and cultural dimension.

Other honored participants included: Warda Marzouk, Aya Oujamaâ, Halima Mostafa Ahmed, Mohamed Abdallah Bouafia, and Awatif Abidat.
The ceremony concluded with awards for the winners, as well as recognition for all participants, the jury, and administrative members. A new tradition was introduced to honor Quran memorizers, highlighting the student Marwa Kadraï. The audience and club members were also recognized, reflecting a spirit of sharing and appreciation of efforts.
This event demonstrates the successful collaboration between the university’s various academic bodies, underscores the importance of cultural and literary activities in nurturing talent, and promotes the Arabic language within the university. The Agadir Club expressed its gratitude to all participants and contributors, wishing everyone reward and blessings during this holy month.
