ArchiComp: A University Championship identify Architectural Talents

As part of promoting creativity and innovation among architecture students, the scientific architecture club, archiClub, organized the ArchiComp Championship to identify talented and creative minds. The event aimed to revitalize the Mansourah Palace and transform it into a tourist site reflecting the rich heritage of Tlemcen, in coordination with the University’s Sub-Directorate of Student Activities to ensure professional organization.
The championship brought together 40 students from across the country, competing for the title of “Best Designer,” in the presence of distinguished officials, including the University Vice-Rector, the Deans of the Faculties of Arts and Humanities and Technology, several Vice-Deans, and professors.
Program Summary:
Day 1: Welcoming participants and presenting the competition theme and requirements.
Day 2: Introductory conference and site visit for data collection and project initiation.
Day 3: Monitoring project progress and meeting with the jury to provide guidance.
Day 4: Supervising the submission of final projects according to the required criteria.
Day 5 (Final Day): Presenting projects to the jury, announcing winners, conducting a field visit to Al-Mashour Palace, and concluding with a group dinner for all participants.
The ArchiComp Championship offers a unique opportunity to develop students’ skills and foster a spirit of collaboration. On this occasion, the organizers extend their sincere thanks to the General Secretariat for their support in making this event a success.
