The Money and Financial Institutions of the Arab Maghreb Laboratory (MIFMA) of the Faculty of Economic, commercial, and Management Sciences, organized on Thursday, April 09, 2026, a national hybrid conference (in-person and online) dedicated to the theme: Artificial Intelligence in Finance: Opportunities and Challenges.

This scientific event was held under the supervision of the Rector of the University of Tlemcen, Prof. Mourad MEGHACHOU, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Fethi BENLADGHEM, the Director of the laboratory, Prof. Mohamed BENBOUZIANE,and under the chairmanship of Dr. Khadidja TAHRAOUI.

The presentations examined the various dimensions of integrating artificial intelligence into the financial sector, highlighting its strategic role in financial fraud detection, the optimization of financial system performance, as well as the main challenges associated with its applications.

The conference concluded with a set of scientific and operational recommendations aimed at supporting the digital transformation of the financial sector and promoting the responsible and efficient integration of artificial intelligence technologies.
