On the occasion of World Book and Copyright Day, the Faculty of Letters and Arts hosted, on April 22, 2026, an intellectual conference organized in coordination with the Agadir Literary Club and the Department of Arabic Language and Literature. Held under the theme “The University and the Challenges of Creativity,” the event brought together faculty members, students, and distinguished guests to discuss contemporary literary production.
The program featured several academic presentations addressing issues of literary creativity, with a particular focus on the novel Who Am I? by Marwa Kholkhal, as well as other promising works.
The event also marked the conclusion of a remote creative writing training program, highlighted by the recognition of the trainer and participants, in addition to honoring several female writers for their literary contributions.
The conference concluded in a convivial atmosphere with the presentation of certificates and acknowledgments to contributors, reaffirming the importance of promoting reading and fostering creative expression within the university.
