The Central Library of the University of Tlemcen hosted, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the closing ceremony of the second edition of Science Week, organized by the ULP Club (University Life Promotion Club), in an atmosphere marked by strong academic and scientific engagement.

This edition featured a scientific, cultural, and sports exhibition bringing together university clubs and several partner institutions, including the Youth Directorate, Civil Protection, and the Algerian Red Crescent, thus fostering exchange and experience-sharing among participants.

The event was attended by Ms. Hadjer Aïssawi, Vice-President of the Supreme Council of Youth, the Rector of the University of Tlemcen, Prof. Meghachou Mourad, as well as local institutional representatives, reflecting strong support for student-led initiatives.

The program was further enhanced by the launch of the third edition of the initiative “Go Youth”, as well as a training day dedicated to the integration of startups within public procurement, digital transformation, and support for research and development.

The event concluded with an award ceremony honoring participating students and faculty members, in recognition of their contribution to the success of this edition, highlighting the university’s commitment to knowledge promotion, innovation, and student engagement.
