As part of ongoing efforts to enhance teachers’ pedagogical competencies in English-medium instruction, Ms. Maureen Rooney led the third session of the training program dedicated to the use of English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) on Thursday, March 12, at the laboratory of linguistics and didactics.

The session was held in the presence of the Laboratory director, Pr. Abdelrahmane BASSO, and witnessed significant participation from faculty members, who demonstrated strong engagement with the topics addressed. Participants also expressed their appreciation for the program’s academic relevance and pedagogical value.

The discussions and activities enabled participants to acquire new knowledge and methodological skills likely to improve their teaching practices and support a more effective integration of English within the academic context.

This initiative is part of the University of Tlemcen’s broader strategy to enhance the quality of higher education and to promote alignment with international academic standards, while fostering the internationalization of pedagogical practices.
