As part of Algeria’s participation in the international WSIS Prizes 2026, organized by the International Telecommunication Union, we are pleased to inform you that four (04) national projects have been shortlisted for the next pha,se as detailed below:

Information and communication infrastructure
Title: Artificial Intelligence for Digital Inclusion (AIDI)
Project 3 – Category C3
Access to information and knowledge
Title: AI-Driven Building Footprint for Inclusive FTTH Connectivity Planning
Project 4 – Category C9 (Media)

In this regard, you are kindly invited to actively participate in the voting process in support of the Algerian projects via the official platform of the International Telecommunication Union at the following link:
The voting process is conducted in accordance with the guidelines available on the website of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications. The voting deadline is set for May 5, 2026, at 10:00 PM (Algeria time).
Please note that the top five (05) projects in each category will advance to the final phase, where they will be evaluated by a panel of experts from the International Telecommunication Union to select the final winners.
The official announcement of the winning projects will take place during the award ceremony held within the framework of the WSIS Forum 2026, scheduled from July 6 to July 10, 2026.
