On May 18, 2026, Professor MEGHACHOU Mourad received Mr. Hakim ZERG-El EIN, Head of the Security Department of the Wilaya of Tlemcen, as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and partnership between the university and various national institutions.

During this meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Université de Tlemcen and the National Security of the Wilaya of Tlemcen, aimed at developing and enhancing collaboration between the two parties in the fields of training and the use of the university’s scientific and pedagogical resources.

The agreement provides, in particular, for the organization of continuous training programs for National Security staff, especially in foreign languages. It also includes the sharing of documentation resources and scientific research laboratories, with the aim of strengthening the exchange of expertise and consolidating scientific and technical cooperation between the two institutions.

This initiative is part of the University of Tlemcen’s openness policy, which seeks to reinforce institutional partnerships and strengthen the link between the university and its professional and scientific environment, in support of development and improved training quality.
