Under the supervision of the Rector of the University of Tlemcen, Pr. MEGHACHOU Mourad, the University of Tlemcen, in collaboration with the National Commission for the Promotion of Visibility and Ranking of Higher Education and Scientific Research Institutions, as well as the scientific publisher Elsevier, organized a training day at the auditorium of the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences and Earth and Universe Sciences (New pole).

This event, entitled “SciVal: Supporting Algerian Universities to Accelerate Research Performance,” was delivered by Mr.HAREK Hakim, President of the aforementioned National Commission, as well as Ms. Nadine Iskandar and Ms. Lucia Schoombee, representatives of Elsevier.

This training day is part of the ongoing support provided to Algerian universities in the field of international scientific publishing, contributing to the improvement of international visibility and the enhancement of the ranking of higher education and scientific research institutions.

The proceedings of the day were held in the presence of Pr.BACHIR Redouane, Vice-Rector in charge of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, as well as the university vice-rectors, the Director of the Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (ISTA), deans of faculties and their deputies, heads of departments and their assistants, directors of research laboratories, heads of research teams, members of scientific bodies, doctoral training committees, and university library managers.

This training day was marked by a strong turnout and positive engagement from participants, contributing to enriching discussions and fostering the exchange of experiences, with the aim of enhancing the quality of scientific research and promoting the international visibility of the university.
