The Department of Physics of the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Tlemcen welcomed Professor Saleem H. Ali, from the University of Delaware (United States), as part of its scientific and academic activities. Internationally recognized for his work in sustainable development, environmental diplomacy, and natural resource management, Professor Ali delivered a lecture entitled: "How Natural Laws Define Human Life"

This event offered teachers, researchers, and students a valuable opportunity to explore the profound relationship between fundamental natural laws and the evolution of human societies. Discussions focused in particular on the implications of these laws for contemporary technological choices and sustainability policies, highlighting the need to reconcile scientific progress, environmental responsibility, and the rational use of resources in the face of current challenges such as climate change and the energy transition.
