Graduation ceremony for the first cohort of the FILA dual-degree bachelor’s programme at the University of Tlemcen

As part of the diploma awarding ceremony held on Thursday, 9 July 2026, at the University of Tlemcen, a graduation ceremony was organized to celebrate the first cohort of students enrolled in the FILA Dual-Degree Bachelor’s Programme in International Finance and English Language (Finance Internationale and Langue Anglaise).
This milestone represents a significant academic achievement, reflecting the University of Tlemcen’s efforts to diversify its academic offerings and develop innovative educational programmes that meet the requirements of the international academic and professional environment.
The diploma awarding ceremony was held in the presence of the Rector of the University of Tlemcen, Pr. MEGHACHOU Mourad, the vice-rector in charge of pedagogy, Pr. Bounouar BENSAIM, the dean of the faculty of economics, commerce and management sciences, Pr. Fethi BELADGHEM,and the dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Pr. Wassila Mourou. A number of teachers, university officials, and students’ families also attended the event, sharing the graduates’ joy in celebrating the successful completion of their academic journey.
In his address on this occasion, the Rector, Pr. MEGHACHOU Mourad , congratulated the graduating students and praised the efforts they had made throughout their years of study. He emphasized that this dual-degree programme reflects the University’s commitment to preparing graduates with specialized knowledge and language skills that enable them to integrate into both national and international environments, while enhancing their opportunities for pursuing further studies or entering the labour market.
The FILA project represents a model of interdisciplinary education, combining training in international finance with proficiency in the English language. It aligns with the University of Tlemcen’s commitment to improving the quality of education, strengthening academic openness, and preparing graduates capable of keeping pace with economic and scientific transformations at both national and international levels.
