As part of its strategy to promote innovation and entrepreneurship, the University of Tlemcen continues to expand the network of i2E Student Center branches across its various faculties. Led under the guidance and supervision of the University Rector, Pr. Mourad MEGHACHOU, this initiative aims to strengthen support mechanisms for student project holders and bring innovation, guidance, and entrepreneurship services closer to the student community.
This approach seeks to provide students with a supportive environment that enables them to transform their innovative ideas into entrepreneurial projects with promising potential.
Although the official inauguration of the i2E Student Center branches at the Faculty of Sciences, the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences and Earth, Universe Sciences, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (ISTA) took place recently, these structures had already been operational and carrying out their support missions.
They have provided reception, guidance, mentoring, and follow-up services to students developing projects within the framework of Ministerial Order No. 1275, offering tailored support, expert advice, and continuous monitoring, in coordination with the university’s relevant support structures, particularly the Entrepreneurship Development Center (CDE), the Innovation and Technology Transfer Support Center (CATI), and the university incubator.
The event also featured a master’s degree award ceremony for graduating students, held in a distinguished atmosphere reflecting the University’s commitment to recognizing academic achievements and celebrating the efforts and accomplishments of its students.
Through this initiative, the University of Tlemcen reaffirms its commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and student support, while contributing to the transformation of creative ideas into promising projects that serve economic and social development. This aligns with the orientations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research toward building a productive, innovative university that is open to its socio-economic environment.
The University of Tlemcen extends its sincere appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of this initiative and confirms its continued commitment to supporting students, helping them achieve their ambitions and transform their innovative ideas into value-generating projects that contribute to national development.
