The University of Tlemcen shines in the European agency’s official documentary celebrating the 10th anniversary of the ACADEMY Intra-Africa academic mobility programme

In a new international recognition of its growing role in African and international academic cooperation, the University of Tlemcen has been featured in the official documentary produced by the European Agency to mark the 10th anniversary of the ACADEMY Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Programme (2016–2026).
The documentary highlights the inspiring journeys of several programme beneficiaries, including three participants from the ACADEMY project at the University of Tlemcen: Dr. Mediouni Mohamed Reda, a PhD graduate of the University of Tlemcen, Rhoda Asiama, a Ghanaian student hosted by the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, Earth and Universe Sciences, and Lubuto Asiame, a student from the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Their testimonials demonstrate the positive impact of academic mobility on scientific training, career development, and the strengthening of collaboration among African higher education institutions.
This international recognition is the result of the dedicated efforts of the Vice-Rectorate for External Relations, Cooperation, Communication and Scientific Events (VREX), which coordinated the visit of the international film crew and facilitated the interviews conducted on the University campus.
Through this participation, the University of Tlemcen reaffirms its position as an active partner in African and international academic cooperation programmes and highlights its commitment to academic excellence, international openness, and the promotion of academic mobility, contributing to the development of a new generation of African researchers and students.
