It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that the University of Tlemcen learned of the tragic fire at the Child Care Institution in Mohammadia, which claimed the lives of several children and left many others injured.

On this sorrowful occasion, the Rector of the University of Tlemcen, Prof. Mourad MEGHACHOU, on behalf of the entire university community, extends his deepest sympathy and expresses his full solidarity with the institution’s staff and with all those affected by this heartbreaking tragedy. He prays that Allah grants His infinite mercy to the departed children, admits them into the highest ranks of Paradise, blesses the injured with a swift recovery, and grants strength and patience to all those caring for them.

May Allah protect Algeria and its people from all harm, bestow His mercy upon the victims, and bring comfort and peace to every grieving heart.
