As part of its strategy to strengthen partnerships with its socio-cultural environment, the University of Tlemcen, represented by the Faculty of Letters and Arts – Department of Arts, signed a framework cooperation agreement with the Directorate of Culture and Arts of Tlemcen Wilaya. The agreement aims to foster cooperation in the fields of culture, the arts, and higher education.

The signing ceremony was held under the joint chairmanship of the Rector of the University of Tlemcen, Pr. Mourad MEGHACHOU, and the Director of Culture and Arts of Tlemcen Wilaya, Mr. Amine BOUDEFLA. The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Letters and Arts, as well as teachers and administrative representatives from both institutions.

The agreement provides Department of Arts students with practical training opportunities through internships, educational visits, and field-based learning activities within cultural institutions affiliated with the Directorate. These initiatives are intended to complement academic education with practical experience and facilitate students’ professional integration.

The partnership also includes the joint organization of conferences, seminars, lectures, competitions, exhibitions, and various cultural and artistic events. These collaborative initiatives aim to promote knowledge exchange, encourage creativity and artistic expression among students, and strengthen cooperation between the University and the cultural sector.

This cooperation agreement reflects the University of Tlemcen's commitment to strengthening collaboration with public institutions and key stakeholders. It also demonstrates the University's dedication to enhancing the quality of academic training, promoting cultural and artistic excellence, creating new opportunities for student development, and supporting the preservation and promotion of the rich cultural heritage and vibrant artistic scene of Tlemcen Wilaya.
