The Rector of Tlemcen University, Pr. Mourad MEGHACHOU, chaired a meeting of the University’s Directorate Council on Thursday, 10 September 2026, in the presence of the Vice-Rectors and Deans of the Faculties.

The meeting was devoted to reviewing the conclusions of the Regional Conference of Western Universities, held the previous day, Wednesday, 9 September 2026, during which several matters related to preparations for the 2026–2027 academic year were discussed.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to coordinate efforts among the University’s various structures and to follow up on the necessary arrangements to ensure readiness and the smooth conduct of the new academic year.

This approach is part of the efforts aimed at creating the appropriate conditions for the start of the academic year, strengthening coordination and ensuring advance preparation, in the service of students and the entire university community.
