As part of preparations for the 2026–2027 academic year, Pr. Mourad MEGHACHOU, Rector of the University of Tlemcen, conducted an inspection visit on Monday, September 14, 2026, to Tidjani Haddam University Residence, in the presence of Ms. Khadidja BECHELAGHEM, Director of the Mansourah University Services Directorate, Mr. Youcef ZERROUKI, Head of the monitoring and coordination department, and Mr. Mohamed CHEKROUNn, Director of the university residence.

The visit focused on the accommodation blocks located in Zone “A”, where rehabilitation works are currently underway under the responsibility of the Public Equipment Directorate of Tlemcen Province. The delegation reviewed the progress of the works and assessed the readiness of the facilities to welcome students.

The visit also included an inspection of the residence restaurant and its various facilities and equipment, with the aim of assessing their readiness and following up on the arrangements put in place to provide students with suitable conditions as the start of the academic year approaches.

The visit forms part of the field monitoring of preparations for the new academic year and aims to strengthen coordination between the University of Tlemcen and the Mansourah University services directorate, thereby contributing to ensuring the readiness of the residence and providing suitable conditions for welcoming students.
