The University of Tlemcen concluded on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, its final training workshop ahead of the operational phase of its quality management system. The initiative is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to obtain international certification under the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

The workshop was designed to support the faculties concerned and staff responsible for the quality initiative by providing them with the practical tools, mechanisms and methods required to implement the requirements of the quality management system and monitor its various stages.

The workshop marks a preparatory step towards the operational phase, aimed at strengthening the readiness of the structures and staff concerned, while ensuring greater consistency in quality-related practices and procedures across the institution.

Through this initiative, the University of Tlemcen seeks to embed a culture of quality, improve institutional performance and continue its efforts towards obtaining international certification for its quality management system, in accordance with the applicable standards.

The initiative also reflects the university’s commitment to the continuous improvement of governance and institutional performance.
