11th General Assembly of SUN & 9th IASS International Scientific Conference

Algeria is honored to host the 11th General Assembly of the Silk-Road Universities Network (SUN) alongside the 9th IASS International Scientific Conference, under the theme “Threads of Change: Weaving Silk Road Cooperation for a Resilient World.” The event will take place from November 15 to 20, 2026, across four Algerian cities: Tlemcen, Algiers, Bejaïa, and Setif, bringing together universities and participants from across the Silk Road network.
The 9th IASS International Scientific Conference is a multidisciplinary academic event addressing Climate Change, Social Sustainability, and Cognitive & Resilient Built Environments, alongside specialized forums dedicated to Silk Road Cultural Heritage, Medicine, International and Transdisciplinary Research Collaboration, Sports, and Languages. The conference welcomes researchers, scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and innovators from diverse academic and professional fields.
Researchers and academics are invited to submit individual papers, panel proposals, or pilot project showcases. Abstracts should be 300–500 words, written in English, accompanied by 3–5 keywords, and indicate the relevant thematic panel. The abstract submission deadline has been extended to October 1, 2026, while full paper submission, optional for the conference proceedings, is scheduled for October 31, 2026. The opening of the 11th General Assembly and the scientific conference will take place at the University of Tlemcen on November 15, 2026, followed by academic sessions, Silk-Road Forums, workshops, institutional activities, and cultural excursions in Algiers, Béjaïa, and Sétif. The event is co-hosted by the University of Abou Bekr Belkaïd Tlemcen, Ferhat Abbas University Sétif 1, Abderrahmane Mira University of Béjaïa, and the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB), in collaboration with SUN, IASS, and Canadian University Dubai (CUD).
