The Rector of the University of Tlemcen, Prof. Mourad MEGHACHOU, received on Monday, September 21, the university’s female students who distinguished themselves at the 12th African University Games, held in Egypt from September 8 to 16.

The reception, attended by Mr.Larbi Dib, President of the Tlemcen Wilaya  University Sports League, and Mr.Mustapha Ghanemi, sub-director of Cultural and Sports Activities, was held to recognize the students’ outstanding sporting achievements.

Volleyball players Imane Benmansour and Nour El Houda Merabet won the silver medal, while Rima Benmansour, competing in swimming, secured six medals: one gold, two silver and three bronze.

The Rector praised the students’ efforts and determination, highlighting their achievements and their contribution to the University of Tlemcen’s presence on the African university sports scene.
