The second day of the closing meeting of the AFRIDI Project, held on 23 September 2026 at Abou Bekr Belkaïd University of Tlemcen, was devoted to presenting the project’s overall outcomes, its main results, and the impact of the mobility and training activities carried out throughout its implementation.

The day provided an opportunity to review the various activities undertaken as part of the AFRIDI Project, present the results achieved and highlight its main accomplishments, particularly in terms of academic mobility, training and exchanges between partner institutions.

One of the highlights of the day was the reception of the partner delegation by the Rector of Abou Bekr Belkaïd University of Tlemcen, in the presence of the President of the University of Tunis El Manar, the AFRIDI Project Coordinator and representatives of the various partner institutions. This institutional meeting provided a valuable opportunity to discuss prospects for cooperation between Tlemcen University and the University of Tunis El Manar, strengthen the institutional links established through the AFRIDI Project, and explore new opportunities for future joint projects.

The discussions also focused on the shared commitment to continuing and developing cooperation in the fields of university mobility, training, research and innovation, as well as exploring new partnership opportunities at regional and international levels.

The AFRIDI Project has therefore contributed not only to strengthening academic mobility and exchanges, but also to creating and consolidating lasting links between the partner institutions.

The objective now is to build on the partnerships established through the AFRIDI Project and jointly prepare the ground for future projects and avenues of university cooperation.
