Abou Bekr Belkaid University of Tlemcen is pleased to inform laboratory heads, teacher-researchers that a training workshop dedicated to the development of international research and innovation projects will be held on October 3 and 4, 2026.

The workshop will be delivered by the international expert Prof. Atef Jouani, from the Higher Institute of Applied Biological Sciences of Tunis, University of Tunis El Manar.

The two-day workshop will follow the schedule below:
09:00 – 10:30: First session
10:30 – 10:45: Break
10:45 – 12:30: Second session
12:30 – 14:00: Lunch break
14:00 – 17:00: Afternoon session
- Workshop objectives
This training will notably enable participants to:
gain a better understanding of the opportunities offered by Horizon Europe, PRIMA, and Interreg NEXT MED;
understand eligibility rules and the main characteristics of calls for proposals;
learn how to identify calls that match their expertise;
showcase their scientific expertise within an international consortium;
understand the Activities → Outputs → Results → Outcomes → Impact chain;
define relevant performance indicators;
identify complementary partners;
develop their scientific and institutional networks;
develop a 60-second partner pitch;
prepare a concrete action plan for joining international projects.
Participation is strongly encouraged for teacher-researchers wishing to develop international collaborations and strengthen their involvement in European and Mediterranean research and innovation projects.
