The University of Tlemcen has held a training session for teachers tasked with teaching the Lean Startup module, as part of efforts to strengthen entrepreneurship and innovation across the university.
The initiative, backed by University Rector Prof. MEGHACHOU Mourad, seeks to extend the teaching of Lean Startup across a range of academic programmes, helping students turn business ideas into viable products and services that meet genuine market needs.
Prof. SARI HASSOUN Zakaria, head of the i2E Student Centre, outlined the methodology to be conveyed to student entrepreneurs, from identifying customer and market needs to developing products or services with clear value and commercial potential.
Prof. SOULIMANE Sofiane, head of the i2E incubator, also highlighted the role of Lean Startup in the creation and development of start-ups.
The initiative is part of the university’s wider drive to equip students with the skills needed to turn ideas into practical, innovative solutions responding to real market demand
