Third International Conference on Cyber Management and Engineering (CyMaEn 2026): An International platform for advancing artificial intelligence applications in management and engineering

The University of Tlemcen is hosting the third edition of the International Conference on Cyber Management and Engineering (CyMaEn 2026), which opened on Sunday, 11 October, at the auditorium of the downtown university campus. Organised by the Higher School of Applied Sciences in collaboration with the Industrial Engineering Laboratory of the University of Tlemcen, the scientific event will run until 13 October, bringing together researchers and experts from around 25 countries.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Rector of the University of Tlemcen, Pr.MEGHACHOU Mourad, alongside several university officials, including the deans of the faculties of Technology, Sciences, Natural and Life Sciences, and Earth and Universe Sciences. Pr.SAIDI Tarik , Director of the Higher School of Business Management, and Pr.BOUCHERIT Rouissat, Director of the Higher School of Applied Sciences, were also present.
Held under the technical sponsorship of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the third edition of CyMaEn brings together academics, researchers, professionals and students to explore the latest technological developments and their applications in management and engineering. With participants from around 25 countries, the conference provides a platform for scientific exchange and the sharing of expertise at a time when digital transformation is accelerating and artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly prominent.
The programme features six plenary sessions led by invited speakers and international experts, alongside 46 parallel sessions devoted to the presentation and discussion of scientific research. Key topics include machine learning, generative artificial intelligence, big data analytics and data science. Engineering management, financial engineering, cloud computing, the Internet of Things and robotics also feature prominently on the conference agenda.
Particular attention is being paid to the application of these technologies in strategic sectors, including energy, the environment, industry and transport. Cybersecurity, telecommunications network optimisation, risk management, quality management and supply chain improvement are also among the subjects under discussion. The changes brought about by Industry 4.0 and the emergence of Industry 5.0 are further central themes, particularly regarding the integration of intelligent systems into production and management processes.
Beyond its academic dimension, CyMaEn 2026 seeks to strengthen ties between universities, economic operators and industrial stakeholders. Its aim is to encourage the development of innovative solutions to the challenges facing businesses and public institutions, making use of emerging technologies to improve productivity, streamline planning and enhance the effectiveness of decision-making processes.
In an economic environment where digital expertise has become a key driver of competitiveness, discussions at the conference are also expected to identify new avenues for research and promote collaborative projects. The objective is to translate scientific findings into practical applications that support industrial development and the modernisation of organisations.
Through the organisation of this third edition, the University of Tlemcen is reaffirming its commitment to international scientific cooperation and to strengthening links between universities, research centres and specialised institutions. This initiative aims to consolidate the role of research and innovation in addressing technological change and developing new approaches to management and engineering
