As part of the cooperation agreement between the University of Tlemcen and the Regional Directorate of Customs in Tlemcen, a Spanish and English language training course for customs officers was officially launched on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, at the Intensive Language Teaching Centre (CEIL).

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr Nour Eddine Mebarki, representative of the Regional Directorate of Customs. Led by lecturer Mouahib Benosmane, the course aims to strengthen participants’ language skills and develop their communication abilities to meet the demands of their professional environment.
