The University of Tlemcen informs the entire university community and interested students that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has received an offer of Chinese scholarships for 30 Algerian students wishing to pursue doctoral studies at Chinese universities and institutes during the 2027–2028 academic year.

Please note that the scholarship does not cover international travel expenses.

Prospective applicants are invited to carefully review the instructions and eligibility requirements outlined in the attached document. They are also required to contact the admissions office of the Chinese university concerned in advance and obtain a pre-admission letter from at least one Chinese university.

Furthermore, applicants wishing to pursue their studies in Chinese must provide a certificate of successful completion of the HSK Level 4 examination.

It should be emphasized that the scholarship is funded entirely by the Chinese side, with no financial contribution required from the Algerian side. Applicants must also complete the attached medical information form and submit all the required supporting documents in accordance with the instructions provided in the application file.

Interested applicants are required to submit their application files to the Vice-Rectorate for External Relations, Cooperation, animation, Communication and Scientific Events (VREX) no later than 3 January 2027, in order to allow the University to forward the applications to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research within the prescribed deadline.
