As part of the commemoration of the 13th anniversary of the death of President Mujahid Ahmed Ben Bella, and under the slogan "Algeria and Global Challenges… Manifestations of the Liberation Revolution," University of Tlemcen, within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, had the honor of hosting today Mr. Youcef Beshlaoui, the Governor of Tlemcen Province, accompanied by members of the Provincial People's Assembly (APW), deputies from both chambers of Parliament, civil and military authorities of the province, as well as representatives of the revolutionary family. At their head were the Regional Secretary of the National Organization of Mujahideen, the Regional Secretary of the Organization of Children of Martyrs, and the Regional Secretary of the Organization of Children of Mujahideen.
Upon their arrival at the university, the delegation was warmly welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Development, Foresight, and Guidance, Prof. Djawad Zendagi, on behalf of the Rector of the University, Prof. Mourad Meghachou, in the presence of the deans of faculties, department heads, heads of specializations, and administrative officials.
The delegation then visited the Library of President Mujahid Ahmed Ben Bella, located within the faculty, where they explored its valuable contents, which represent an important part of Algeria's history and its struggles for independence.
This visit is part of the various events organized in Tlemcen Province to honor the memory of a great national figure such as President Ahmed Ben Bella and to draw inspiration from the values of the Liberation Revolution in addressing the current challenges.
