On the occasion of Knowledge Day, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, a national symposium was organized and presided over by Dr. Soumia DJILAILI from the Laboratory of Statistical Analyses in Human Sciences, in collaboration with the Laboratory of Automatic Processing of the Arabic Language and the PRFU Project: L00L01UN130120220002. The symposium, titled "Didactics of the Arabic Language for Individuals with Hearing Impairments," aimed to explore the educational challenges faced by this group of learners.
The discussions focused on their specific educational needs, the obstacles they encounter in educational settings, and modern methods and tools that can facilitate their learning. Innovative solutions were proposed to address these challenges.
Three scientific sessions gathered researchers and educators from various universities, both in person and online. The discussions, held from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM, led to the proposal of adapted approaches to improve Arabic language teaching for individuals with hearing impairments.
