Held at the auditorium of downtown city pole, the event drew significant official and diplomatic attendance, including the Wali of Tlemcen, the President of the Provincial People’s Assembly, the President of the Pan African University, Prof. Jean Koulidiati, the Ambassador of Zimbabwe, and other African diplomats and academic leaders. University Rector Prof. Mourad Meghachou and PAUWES Director Prof. Abdelatif Zerga welcomed guests alongside deans and institute directors.

 

The graduating class, composed of 82 students from 36 African countries, symbolized a rich mosaic of cultures and languages, underscoring PAUWES' role as a hub for pan-African academic and cultural exchange. In his speech, Prof. Meghachou emphasized the institute's strategic importance in training future leaders in water resource management, renewable energy, and climate change — fields he described as central to sustainable development.

 

Prof. Koulidiati highlighted the transformative journey of PAUWES students, calling the graduation not an end but a gateway to impactful scientific and professional careers shaped by multicultural collaboration and human connection.

 

The program featured presentations of the best master's theses of 2025, coordinated by Prof. BOUDJANANE Toufik, alongside videos showcasing students’ cultural, athletic, and international activities. A cultural performance celebrated the institute's diversity, and football champions were honored, reflecting PAUWES’ commitment to holistic student development.

 

In his closing remarks, Prof. Zerga Abdelatif praised the graduates' academic excellence and their strong sense of responsibility toward African development, reaffirming the institute's open-door policy for alumni engagement and future collaboration.
