Signing of a Partnership Agreement between the University of Tlemcen and the Directorate of Education of the Wilaya of Tlemcen

 As part of efforts to strengthen academic and pedagogical cooperation, the University of Tlemcen, which hosts the Annex of the Higher School for Teachers (École Normale Supérieure – ENS) of Oran, held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, the official signing ceremony of a partnership agreement with the Directorate of Education of the Wilaya of Tlemcen.
The ceremony was presided over by Pr.MEGHACHOU Mourad , Rector of the University of Tlemcen, and Mr. Zaid Mohamed Bachir, Director of Education, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed HIRACH, Director of the ENS of Oran, his administrative team, Pr. Bounouar Ben Saïm, Head of the higher normal school Annex in Tlemcen, as well as several faculty members and officials from the education sector.
 
This agreement aims to establish a sustainable and effective collaboration between the two institutions to ensure high-quality training for future teachers.
It notably provides for joint participation in the selection committees for students applying to the ENS of Tlemcen, the involvement of the Directorate of Education in the training of trainers, and the organization of practical internships within educational institutions at the three levels of instruction: primary, middle, and secondary.
 
The agreement also stipulates the active participation of the ENS Annex representatives in coordination meetings and in the development of pedagogical programs under the supervision of the Directorate of Education. It further provides for the creation of pedagogical experimentation environments, through the establishment of model classrooms that will enhance the practical dimension of teacher training.
 
Beyond its formative aspect, the partnership also includes the organization of joint academic and educational activities, aimed at fostering experience sharing and strengthening ties between the University and the Education sector.
 
This initiative is part of a comprehensive national strategic vision that seeks to improve the quality of teaching and training while linking academic learning with practical experience, thus ensuring the preparation of highly qualified educational professionals who will contribute to the advancement of the national education system.
